Our nonprofit company is organized to donate shoes to the homeless and needy. We go to schools and try to collect as many shoes as possible. Also, we have bins in supermarkets and stores nation-wide. The website is a great place to help people find where they can donate. We make sure that the shoes are in descent condition.
Goal: Our goal is to “shoe” the Homeless
Target Audience: People with good shoes that would donate would be a big help. Shoe stores can be a huge help by donating shoes for our cause.
Future Project: A future project our company has in mind is to have a one day event at the Nike store where if you return a decent pair of shoes, then Nike will give you a pair of new shoes half off. This project should promote costumers to bring their old shoes and donate them to a good cause, while still getting something in return.
Background History: We have collected more shoes than there are “feet to shoe.”
Success Stories: Throughout our many years of experience in the shoe business, we have come across many success stories across the globe, one of which was exceptionally inspiring. We donated a large sum of shoes to a poor African tribe in Zimbabwe, who had never seen a pair of shoes in their life. There feet were sore and blistered from their terrible walks on the hot desert sand, and these pairs of used shoes were a life-saver to this simple group of people.
